How do transfers work?

Riders can transfer to and from Brockville Transit at no additional charge. Simply let your driver know before boarding that you need a transfer to receive a valid ticket. Transfers are only valid for immediate connections at designated transfer points.

How do I know I’m on the right bus?

Each bus displays its route name and final destination. Onboard announcements are made for every stop to help guide you along the way.

Where are the bus stops located?

Bus stops are located along County Road 2, typically near major intersections. Look for posted signage or check the route map online for exact locations.

Does River Route run on holidays?

No, service does not operate on statutory holidays.

What should I bring with me?

Please have exact fare ready when boarding, if paying by cash. Tickets can also be purchased in advance through municipal offices or participating partners.

What items and belongings policies should I be aware of?

Please keep track of your personal belongings at all times. River Route is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, damaged property, or misplaced tickets and transfers.

Are pets allowed on the bus?

Guide dogs and registered service animals are always welcome. Small pets (cats and dogs only) are permitted in carriers and must remain in the carrier for the duration of the trip.
